Typhoon Jebi

Typhoon Jebi has brought a fair bit of rain the last couple of days, but it has mostly cleared up now. The weather has been pretty dramatic!

Man Mo Temple

Man Mo Temple (temple to two gods) on Hollywood Road. Some pictures I took inside the temple. Loved the coils of incense.

Hong Kong at night

We met up with Sarah, Alice and Phil on our first night in HK. It was nice to be shown some city hightlights by the locals :) Fabulous dinner at Nah Trang in Harbour City with a grand view of the fabulous harbour. We watched as darkness fell over the city and then watched the lightshow (or "cheesy lightshow" according to Alice, but we tourists lapped it up). After dinner we went for a walk along the water, passed the Star Ferry Terminal (quick stop for ice-cream), and up to the Avenue of Stars where we met Bruce Lee. Last stop was to have drinks outside making the most of the cool typhoon weather (it stayed dry for us!). Fun first night in Hong Kong.

Someone took this pic for us and included her finger in the shot :)
